About the Mountain Laurel Gallery
 |
Chuck Wheeler, the owner of Mountain Laurel
Gallery comes from generations of family who loved owning their own
business. "My grandfather owned a general store and I am drawn to
American crafts. I always enjoyed collecting," he says.
Located on the corner of Washington Street and Fairfax Street in the spa/resort town of
Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, the Mountain Laurel Gallery
offers an outstanding collection of designer jewelry, wearable art, contemporary American
crafts and fine art. Since opening in 1997, Mountain Laurel has been a showcase for
handmade work by American craftspeople. Featuring about 125 local, regional and nationally
known American contemporary artists, Mountain Laurel's top-selling crafts are jewelry,
wearables and pottery.
