In my work, I illustrate the incredible spirits within animals. I want people to stop and think, “Look at this extraordinary spirit that just happens to be in the body of a dog.” With bold colors (usually not found in nature) I try what artists such as Georgia O’Keefe tried – to have the observer take a “closer look” at what is often considered the ordinary. I want to convey what is beneath the outside parameters and inward to the heart and soul. Much of my work focuses on companion animals, many of whom are from shelters and are awaiting adoption. I also paint commissions and people are able to cheat Mother Nature in this way.  Now you can enjoy your dogs & cats for a LIFETIME (in human years!) with a painting that expresses the colorful four-legged spirits you have shared your love with. A portion of the profits from my sales to help support a local animal adoption centers.
